Current Offerings For Orca Swim Graduates
Stroke 102 - Seattle Pool
These classes are a series of 2-hour sessions for graduates of the Strokes Class. The goal of the class is to continue your development of what you learned in the Stroke class and add new stroke skills as the interest of the group directs.
Prerequisite: Beginning Class or Private lesson with approval of instructor, AND Strokes Class
These are open swim times you can use your 'mother pool' or rather the pool you took your beginning class. This is independent swim time where you get a chance to ask yourself, "what sounds like fun" and "what do I need to give myself to remain in my first circle". Usually you start with easy skills and build your confidence towards more complex things you did in class. It is a wonderful opportunity to try out your new swim skills while feeling safe and warm in a familiar place with others who have been on a similar journey.
$20 per swim or buy a package 5 for the price of 4 - $80

Open Water Adventures
This is where we really get to put our learning into adventure! We always ask your wildest dreams in the Beginning class. You started bringing them to you by learning to swim now we can take it out to the fun outdoors. Start with a pool session to prepare us for the lake. After that you can attend any and all open water adventures. Join us in the fun.
Guided Practice Swim
You will get time on your own swim like a practice swim but you will also have a spotter to give you approximately 30 minutes of 1:1 spotting time. There will be up to 3 swimmers at a session so you can have several turns with the spotter, rest while someone else has a few turns then get to go again. The spotter for the class will not necessarily be a trained instructor so will not be teaching you, but their role is to increase your feeling of safety so you can learn from yourself by following your natural curious learning. Students may wish to do some games together and will enjoy being with other Miracle Swim students. Email for details
2-3 hours, Price varies by special theme/guest
Why else do you learn to swim, but to have fun! Each month we will be having themed swim parties. Some will feature a guest chef, local farmer or brewer and other times we will host a special "aquatic" guest to share about their expertise. Enjoy meeting up with your classmates and meeting students from other classes. There will also be time to play in the pool. It is your turn to enjoy a pool party made! Look for your invitation via Facebook.
